Wai Yan Ho is known in Silicon Valley as an EDA Technology Pioneer, Entrepreneur, and Investor and serves as GRID’s Chairman, CEO, and President.
Mr. Ho has founded, invested in, and has served in Executive Management, Board Member, and Technology Advisory roles in several successful EDA and DFM companies delivering a wide range of solutions. These successful companies and investments include: ACAD Corp. (Device simulator acquired by Magma), Après Technologies (Substrate Noise Analysis acquired by CADMOS/Cadence), Archer Systems (RC Extractor acquired by EPIC/Synopsys), Aprio Technologies (DFM Analysis acquired by Blaze/Tela Innovations), Cedar Technologies (Con-current Physical Layout Verification acquired by EPIC/Synopsys), FabCentric, Inc. (Parametric Yield and Recipe Management acquired by HPL/Synopsys), Stanza Systems Inc. (Custom Physical Layout Editor acquired by Synopsys), and Pulsic Ltd. - Complex IC, Mixed Signal and SoC Place and Route.
Mr. Ho has led Physical Verification and Extraction teams at Synopsys. Prior to Mr. Ho launching his entrepreneurial career, he led the architectural design and implementation of 32bit microprocessors at Seiko. Prior to Seiko, Mr. Ho was a member of the technical staff responsible for Physical Extraction at ECAD (now Cadence).
Mr. Ho graduated from Cheng Kung University in Tainan (ROC) with a MSEE Layout Verification.

John Kulusich is a known Sales and Marketing Entrepreneur in the semiconductor technology sector, serves as GRID’s Vice President of Business Development.
Mr. Kulusich has held Senior Sales, Marketing, and Consulting roles for Synopsys and Cadence responsible for New Product Introduction, DFM, Physical Verification, and Extraction customer engagements.
Mr. Kulusich was previously Business Development Director at Heuristics Physics Laboratories, Inc. (HPL) (acquired by Synopsys). Prior to HPL, Mr. Kulusich was Vice President and Co-Founder of FabCentric Inc., (FCI) (acquired by HPL) providing Factory Automation and Recipe Yield Management Solutions for semiconductor manufacturing, and Vice President of Business Development and Co-Founder of YieldDynamics, Inc. (YDI) (acquired by MKS Systems) providing Photolithographic Advanced Process Control (APC) and Parametric Yield Management systems for semiconductor design and manufacturing.
John Kulusich received a BA in Journalism from San Jose State University.
Bob Pack, another well-known Silicon Valley EDA and DFM technologist, serves as Chief Technologist / eDFM at GRID where he focuses on modeling and simulation of the impact of nanoscale process technology on gigascale IC design.

He has also held Senior R&D roles at; TMA (Technology Modeling Associates, Inc.) (acquired by Synopsys), and Hughes Research, Carlsbad.
Mr. Pack, a Co-Founder of the SPIE/Design and Process Integration Conference, has served on numerous Technology Advisory Board's of public and private technology companies in the areas of DFM and advanced lithography.
Mr. Pack received the BA and MS in Applied Physics (Applied Optics) from UC San Diego.
